New tribunal gives mariners a voice

Fiji has set up a four-member Maritime Appeals Tribunal to review certain decisions in the maritime sector. MSAF Acting Chief Executive Iliesa Batisaresare said the Tribunal would strengthen transparency and accountability in maritime governance.
