Shop N Save Supermarket, one of Fiji’s leading supermarket chains, has opened the doors to its newest branch in Nausori, bringing a fresh shopping experience and new job opportunities to the local community.
The $10million investment will serve as a hub for the community in the greater province of Rewa, Tailevu and Naitasiri catering to the growing needs of Nausori’s resident.
This is the supermarket’s 17th outlet in Fiji and its first in Nausori.
Shop N Save chief executive officer Nisheel Deo highlighted the company’s commitment to supporting the local community of Nausori.
“We are proud to invest in Nausori and create employment while offering affordable, high-quality products,” Mr Deo said.
The new Nausori branch has already generated over 50 new jobs, with Shop N Save pledging to continue hiring locally as the store grows.
The three-storey building features a spacious layout with it’s supermarket operating from the second floor and the bulk of its supermarket at the top floor.
Early shoppers praised the store’s spacious layout, wide aisles and friendly staff.
“It’s nice to have more choices close to home and we get to use the elevator and ramp with our loaded trolleys. It’s accessible,” a customer Laite Baravi of Lokia Village in Rewa said.
The launch of the Nausori branch marks another milestone in Shop N Save’s nationwide expansion, reinforcing its role as a key player in Fiji’s retail sector.
